Radiators

Every vehicle's engine generates an extreme amount of heat during daily operation. If this temperature gets too high, you run the risk of overheating and seriously damaging your engine. A radiator's role is to regulate this heat. The radiator sits at the front of the engine, where air can flow over and through the fins. Heated coolant is pumped through the radiator, and the moving air helps to wick the heat away, reducing the coolant's temperature before it exits the other side of the radiator and returns to the engine to start the process again. However, OEM radiators can be damaged in a number of different ways. A simple fender bender could be enough to bend multiple fins or even create a pinhole leak. Using water instead of coolant can cause your radiator to rust out, as well. Signs that you need to inspect your radiator for damage include visible coolant collecting on the ground under the engine and a higher than usual temperature when the engine is running. If your radiator is damaged or failing, you must replace the faulty part immediately. Only trust OEM quality parts.
